20 - Let Go Of The Outcome

My big takeaway statement from a year of branding training back in 2020 that I had planned to be my main message was this - ‘Let Go Of The Outcome.’

We were told in our training to define everything we did back to one statement that we would recommend to a client if we only had one thing to say to them to help them breakthrough.

I stand by this statement today.

In order to first start speaking, brand building, marketing for clients, writing my book and now journal, I had to begin with this statement - Let go of the outcome.

I can’t guarantee a desired outcome, and neither can you.

Letting go of the outcome doesn’t mean apathy. It means you don’t let your identity or worth hang on the result.

It allows you to pursue something and be able to live with the results, even if they’re disappointing, while not dismantling your self-worth.

It takes the pressure of having to do everything perfectly.

It helps you to take action and just learn.

So whatever you’re pursuing, do it with everything you have in you. Learn as you go. And—let go of the outcome. …because the process will shape you, and the results will follow—maybe not in the way you expect, but always in the way the Lord will use for your good.
